geared   321 #13 Posted April 20, 2013 If oil has mixed with coolant then it's most likely a head gasket issue, which ain't cheap
 Share this content via...

Mr Bloke   1,445 #15 Posted April 21, 2013 It will ne the heads gasket. On the heads gasket you have water holes that leak but dont leak into the pistons part so oil is geeting in from the head casket.  What are contant tension grips. Ta. Brilliant!  Only on SF would you get someone who is an 'expert' on head gaskets but doesn't know what a constant tension clip is. Ta.  http://www.murraycorp.com/constant-tension-clamps.html  or you can use t-bolts:  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161002417151?var=460164667682&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
 Share this content via...
geared   321 #17 Posted April 21, 2013 Careful with T-bolts tho, it's very easy to over tighten them and bend or break something.  Good quality Jubilie clips are man enough for most jobs.
 Share this content via...
