formerly j h mann fishmongers

now g l stebbing fishmongers as was in the 1980's

glyn sold the business to peter mann who ran it succesfully.

Glyn will be returning with his wife alison to serve the people of hillsborough and surrounding areas with fresh fish seafood etc.

Looking forward to meeting old and new faces.

good news. nice to see local business back. I choose fishmongers over supermarket everytime.

Fab news. The kids and I love fish but I look at the stuff in the supermarket and thing...nah...

If I have to travel to hillborough to buy a decent bit of fish I will if it means something a bit different and fresh. We like trying new things too. Might need cooking advice though!

Superb news. I shopped at Manns for years and was gutted when it closed. The news that its re-opening is brilliant. My 8 year old loved their fishcakes, please tell me you'll be doing something similar?

hopefully we will be opening at the first week in april all being well

as we have to re fit the shop out and give it a good clean.

hiya thankyou for your enquiry yes we will be doing salad boxes with either seafood or smoked fish in i. e smoked mackerel , smoked salmon. prawns and other seafood.

also will be selling samphire,and parsley for cooking and dressing.

just a note to say it will most likely be middle of april before we open the fishmongers in hillsborough

we have for our customers a FREE fish of the day cook book we have approx 250 of these to give away so hope you don't miss out as there are some great recipes to look at.
