i cant understand half the words used in this thread :(
Me neither. And who rumbles (opening post)? Perhaps he's just too preoccupied to use his keyboard properly, spending his time creating divisions with people he knows nothing about

so, you're not a fan huh? :-)

i use one of their wind shells for cycling. it weighs about 4ozs (next to nothing) and stuffs into it's own pocket. on longer rides i'll carry it in a jersey pocket or an empty water bottle cage if i'm not wearing it already. it cuts the wind well and provides a surprising amount of additional warmth.

My Uncle Raymond Hillpig Smythe invented the Burmese Army Treking Pole. This was intended for use by British Army Officers when they were inspecting the jungle, escaping the Japanese or bashing the natives.

I have the last original stick and can be seen from time to time walking the streets of Sheffield, the moors of North East Derbyshire and elsewhere with it.

I am by breeding education and delusion a superior person.

So, to answer your question "Are all walkers snobs". The answer is no. Just some of us.
