Cold callers and leaflets

Just had a man to the door who apparently ignored my No Cold Callers notice. He said it was about newspaper deliveries so it didn't apply to him. He said it was in the leaflet.

 

First I've heard of a leaflet. I'd love to see one which says newspapers can cold call.

I agree, totally. Every time i sit down to have my evening meal, i get a call. I am sure their waiting for to to start eating. Its so frustrating. I never give my landline number out. How do they do it?

These leaflet distributors have always been around but ant they exploded in last two years. It's nearly every day their coming now.

These people are on the dole, their fiddling, you think anyone takes on £10 per thousand leaflets delivered as a proper job ??

Add yourself to the caller preference list. That'll stop 90% of them, the other 10% becoming a fun pastime (tell them you just need to get a pen and paper to take down their name so you can report them and see how fast the 'phone ges down ).

Just had cancer research knock at the door at 9.05 pm isn't there a law on time limits they can cold call at the door step
