One of the best salt and pepper squid I've had anywhere. Always packed, always a long time for delivery cos busy.  ......now if you'd said BB's was a bit rank, I'd agree.  Portofino at Heeley (Chesterfield Road near Ponsford's) is BYO most of the week and decent. Apparently they are open normally only during the daytime but have special saturday evenings when they put on restaurant service and allow BYO.
