Other than city centre, where is there a Barclays Bank in Sheffield?

squiggs william Glynn was bought out by Rbs over 20 years ago before all the fun&Games! that we are in upto now withthe smelly stuff!

I started work at No.2, Middlewood Rd. in 1960. I opened the Meadowhead branch in 1964 and the Banner Cross branch in 1965. The last 2 mentioned were sub-branches then and I had to return to the Moor branch after closing at 3 o'clock.

Ah, but where were the Martins Bank branches in Sheffield?

 

How many were there? That will take more research. Swallowed by Barclays about 1967, I think.

Used to be one just of west street don't know if it's still there been a while since I used it.
