yeah been looking on line does`nt look to difficult and it`s not an expensive rod

it is very easy ive done a few over the years. some good quality cotton and some super glue mixed with a bit of patience.

use proper whipping thread, not cotton. cut the old stuff off, sand it down nice and whip the new one one, jiggle it into position and seal with several coats of decent quality clear nail varnish. l've done my own for years.
