Leah-Lacie
60 grams is about 2 ounces. Gold was around £720 ($1070) an ounce at about that time (early 2010). She should have gotten about £1400 for that amount of gold. Deduct eBay fees and PayPal costs...... At the time she was getting quotes of about £8 per gram from jewellers. It was all 9k gold

The supermarkets were paying nearly 80% value, as opposed to 26% with the crooks. She's picked up over 60%. That's not bad.

She was ecstatic, decided to gamble and not take UK bullions offer of £8/g, and gamble. It paid off for her in that way

jennywalia07
Not sure if you can if there are bids, you can alter the listing if you have no bids or if a buyer has asked if they can bid you can add them to a list allowing them to bid. cryptic1
H. Samuel are paying £18 a gram for 22ct. If you get problems on E.Bay, PayPals reaction is to delete your account and then refuse to talk to you as you don't have an account. UK Bullion had a "couldn't care less attitude" when I rang them. London Rd Jewellers are paying £24 plus, and advertise that they guarantee the best price in S.Yorks. I'm off there today. You are always safer delivering the gold by hand and getting cash (unless you sell to someone from Sheff.Forum down an alleyway).
