FairyNormal Posted January 8, 2011 Share Posted January 8, 2011 We've just got off the tram in Hillsborough to find Rudyard Road blocked off by the police. A police car is parked across the entrance and further down the road it is completely taped off by the looks of it. There were a couple more car and a significant amount of police around too. Sheffield Police Posted January 9, 2011 Share Posted January 9, 2011 Police can confirm that an incident took place in Hillsborough yesterday evening (Saturday, 8 January) involving a youth and a car. As a result, the youth was taken to hospital with a broken leg. Police are investigating the incident as an assault with enquiries ongoing today. Nobody has been stabbed and officers wish to stress again that rumours of this nature are not helpful to police or families of those involved.
