linnet52 Posted October 17, 2010 Share Posted October 17, 2010 I live on Batemoor and thankfully haven't been affected but most of the Batemoor estate and i'm not sure where else has been cut off from their electric after some thieving barstools have broken into the sub station and stolen copper wire out of it. Friends and family of mine have had all their electrical equipment fried after it caused a power surge. Blue sparks from the power supply are not good!!!! What I meant was, Just because the elec company tell you/the star, the police etc that the reason for the power cut was someone cutting ,cough, the elec cables (you know those with thousands of volts going through them) doesn't mean it's the truth.
