rubydazzler
That's just mad, why can't he take the dog with him? I bet he's getting some critical calls! Although, tbh, provided they have a kind owner, dogs don't care that much who they live with. They'll go off with anyone who gives them a kind word and a titbit! Jess22
He has found a home. I've just phoned up, I have a soft spot for Collies, and grew up with one that made it to quite an old age. Lovely dogs. Happy he has found somewhere to live. Also, I think the owner did the right thing. Moving an old dog abroad isn't very fair.

Berkana
So glad he's found a home. Poor lad. It's not a good age to be having such a massive upheaval. Bless him he's a gorgeous thing isn't he! I have to say I was a bit tempted myself!!!

Moving an old dog abroad isn't very fair. why not? i have a old dog and take him abroad all the time, long car jopurnies, tents on campsites, peoples houses etc etc. to him its a adventure... Jess22
why not? i have a old dog and take him abroad all the time, long car jopurnies, tents on campsites, peoples houses etc etc. to him its a adventure... Ok, maybe I should have been clearer. It wouldn't be fair on THIS old dog! After speaking to the owner, I know he really isn't up to moving abroad.
