Bedders
One Sheffield Lib Dem councillor said to me the other week "We're all Tories now". So, it's not just the voting public who now see the Lib Dems as Tories, but even Lib Dem councillors. Already disillusioned Lib Dem candidates in Barnsley are openly contemplating joining Labour and the Lib Dem leader on Liverpool council has castigated Clegg for forming a coalition with Cameron. There are only 9 months to go before local council elections. I suspect by then that many voters will be contemplating why on earth should they vote Lib Dem? Bring on the revolution brother! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f4S5uTBVK6U http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Derek_Robinson_(spokesman) Ohhhh don't forget Viscount Stansgate as well, the well know spokesperson of the working classes! Blackbeard
Maybe you are barking up the wrong tree with your constant (and so far unfounded) attacks on the Lib Dems? Perhaps you should be embracing them with a view to future partnerships? I am not a member of any party but I know Mr Clegg would never join in partnership with the Labour party because he said so. "This talk of alliances comes up a lot, doesn’t it? Everyone wants to be in our gang. So I want to make something very clear today. Will I ever join a Conservative government? No. Will I ever join a Labour government? No. I will never allow the Liberal Democrats to be a mere annex to another party's agenda." I know he is a man of his word so it would never happen Read his words on the Liberal Party website http://www.libdems.org.uk/speeches_detail.aspx?pPK=3efdf716-ae50-4272-b6ea-a35066221880&title=Liverpool_2008%3A_Nick_Clegg%27s_Leader%27s_Speech
hsb98c
We have a right and and obligation to question the LibDems. As for unfounded, what planet are you on, or are you now sticking your head in the sands?
Bedders
We have a right and and obligation to question the LibDems. As for unfounded, what planet are you on, pr are you now sticking your head in the sands? Glad you lot weren't around when the jackboots were on the march all we'd all be right-wing (or if not blond haired)....then dead! What do you mean you want to form a coalition? Times now are more knackered than when we had the ww2, look at the debt levels & how long they will take to pay back. just beacuse your favoured party is not 'in' live with it & be a man, instead of a crying wimp! Pardon? I'm sorry, I hought this was a discussions forum for, well, discussing things. Just because truths are being put forward doesn't mean I'm in the wrong. That's the point of a discussion! You keep coming on here trying to take the higher ground and rather than discussing things you try at every turn to get personal or picky on spelling. Please go find a teen bulletin board to moan on as were trying to discuss something that you either don't like us doing, or are only interested in spoiling. hsb98c
And there have been a few posts on here that have made me stop and think, and have changed my view on issues. One thing that hasn't changed is my belief that the LibDems are not a political party with morals. They are making the coalition more bearable but if Brown or Blsir had done anything close to the u turns Clegg has done he'd have been shot at dawn. Both quotes by this countries "Greatest Britain" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/100_Greatest_Britons See back on topic mentioned Liberals!!! hsb98c
I'm interested in getting this absolutely buggered country back on it's feet. Good for you. How? By shouting down anyone who has issues and raises them? Teen.....I think you should read this from one of this countries greatest orators.... (By the way you've made my night with the teen quote....I think that could only be bettered at my age by been asked for I.D :hihi:) Glad I could oblige. But just remember something, its not how old you actually are on here. it's the way you behave and your, well. I'm not much better but at least I'm taking part in the discussion rather than just keep paying random things like a mad man
