Used to be packed out fri and sat nights but I'm rambling on about 30 years ago (I'm a miserable old git now). They used to have groups on most weekends and disco's in the week, and scraps every other friday.

Shiregreen used to have some decent pubs but with the decline of society, comes the decline of its pubs.

I can remember when the Sicey was a decent place to enjoy, then the horseshoe closed. The working mens clubs are making the most of it though.

So if you want a decent pint & dont mind shutting up while the oldies play Bingo try find someone to make you a member of a WMC.

I dont work for a WMC (Working Mans Club thats a joke in itself)

so I'm not here to advertise any.

I used to love it in the Shiregreen Hotel with Derek Darby, good times.
