Douglas J Â Â 10 #14 Posted May 9, 2010 It's this trend towards living behind locked doors / in gated communities - the idea that it's not safe for someone to leave a letter for you and that it's normal to talk to people through an intercom. It's also becoming more of a problem with internet shopping and non-Royal Mail deliveries, which can happen any time of day.
