Hen and Chickens pub has re opened

Recommended Posts

Walked past it today and it had two 'doormen' on - if that's what they were - certainly didn't look inviting, but I generally make a point of not drinking in any establishment that requires bouncers anyway.

It must be bad if they have to employ doorman on a week day afternoon.I think I'll give it a miss.

ive used the pub for last 30 or so years im 60 now never seen much trouble

Maybe - but why go to the expense of employing 'doormen' if trouble isn't expected or needs sorting out? Hence my theory that if they do have to, I don't want to go in.

the doormen are employed due to the past history of the pub,the new owners are determined to keep the rif raf out .

Go visit the place its quite safe and its looking much nicer inside than in the past.
