Help with re naming a hair salon

Recommended Posts

hi everyone. took over a hair salon recently and maybe looking at changing the name of the salon in the future. have a name in mind but does anyone know how to go about it and how do i make sure no one is already using the name i have chosen

cheers

Hi Donna

I would definitely stay well clear of any of the "cut above" "Cutz" type names!!!

I actually quite like House of Elliott, but if you are going to change it come up with something a little different and memorable.

I quite liked the suggestion Rach came up with "pink Chocolate".

Pure is also quite a nice name which hasn't been over used.

Hope this helps - its is something we do!!! :)

You could use the name Ice Neepit if you like the name. There may be someone else using the name elsewhere in the country, so use the name Ice Neepit of Sheffield.

What you might want to do is to register the name on a domain name:

http://www.iceneepitofsheffield.co.uk

I don't think there is anything to stop you using a name found elsewhere as long as there is no confusion (hence the ... of Sheffield), but you might want to check that the other place is not a dog groomer.

What about...

- Hair to dye for

- cut above the rest

- perfection hair stylists

- ( your name(s) colour and cut

- premier hair

- directors cut

-head masters

- scissor sisters ( be good if there were sisters:))

- hair care specialists.

or just do a search on google see what u can come up with#

let us know what you decide to call it"
