My husband knew The O'briens , his family lived accross the road from them , Mick was his football manager for the Woodhouse angels , Woodhouse WMC . They became very good friends during the 70,s early 80,s .

I knew the o,Briens ,went out with Mick for a short time. I heard some very sad news about him some years ago. Do not know if it was true or not. There,s was also a sister called Cath. She lived on basegreen with her hubby and kids.

There are a lot of O'briens in Sheffield. There was a family of O'briens lived on Cromford St years ago. I knew Desmond O' brien, im sure he had reletives on the Manor. I also Remember David O'brien known as DOB who lived round upperthorpe. I think one of the O'brien family have a skip firm as ive seen the wagons around.

I once knew a lad called Pat O'Brien. Not sure if he came from off Manor, could have done? He'd be mid 40's now - any relation.
