back in the 60's and 70's hardly any of them did,the roads were far more safer (nowhere near as much traffic) the envoiroment was much cleaner and also kids walked to school and were much healthier,if my mum wanted to go anywhere my dad or grandad took her.....surly it waould be a lot better going back to them days...i mean lets face it they arnyt very good at it either.

surely the question of the post should be "why do people feel the need to drive"? the sex of the driver is irrelevant to the fact that there are too many cars etc...

I personally chose not to drive. Should a kind gentleman (lil brother) offer me a lift I would accept.

 

And don't forget with our 21st century women, many don't have a husband or partner to drive them around.

Actually Kirky Im a very good driver, and I've got no one to cart me around even if i couldnt drive!

yes i agree too many cars,so lets half the number of them by getting women off the roads,or let the drive at certain times i.e off peak.
