Coloured lights for cars - Where can buy them?

Recommended Posts

I've got blue strobes in my grille, great for overtaking

Aye, they're great aren't they.

I've got some in a roof mounted perspex box.

When you say spotlights, are you referring to fog lights?

Yes I meant Fog lights

You'll fail an MOT if any of your lights have a blue tint.

As the title says I'm after some coloured lights - blue bulbs for the Spotlights on my Pegeout Expert Van and for the interior lights.

Does anyone know of any specialist shop that sells these type of lights as well as other accessories?

Thanks

try chav.com

I bet he drives round all day with his fog-lights on. Idiot. The police will pull you if you have blue lights on the front of your car - there were some idiots with them a few years back who used them to try pulling people over before robbing them.

Why is everyone (well probably not everyone) on this forum so small minded when it comes to people wanting to do anything to their cars?

A guy asks a question and he's branded a chav, called an idiot etc etc, are you people like this with everyone you meet?

When it comes to taking on illegal and dangerous modifications to their vehicle, I think folk are justified in slating someone who is wanting to go down that route.

If someone came on here and said "Duh! Hey I saw a picture of Boadicea's Chariot, and fort dat it looked really cool wiv all dem kniveses, stickin' outta the wheels:- Where can I get some like that?" would you congratulate him or her for their style and elan?

I tend to agree with probedb, not that I condone the blue lights.

So many threads turn nasty with name calling etc. I don't see any reason to call the guy an idiot.

A polite posting giving your views and explaining that it's illegal is all it takes.

I was called presumptious recently, and all was doing was giving sensible advice.

That's why I limit my posts.

ok, I'll point you to my original post on the subject...

nowhere in that post did I even hint that I might have thought that the OP was an eejit...

and I will reiterate, that if someone is wanting to do something dangerous or illegal, I think there may be some justification in slating them.

Plain Talker.....I never said you did call the guy names. It was post 19# that did that, and post 20# asked why.

Your reply 21# seems to say it is ok to slate the OP in this way.

It's funny how people read things differently.

Of course the OP needs telling it's dangerous and illegal....but politely IMO.

(As I did earlier in the thread)
