Same time. I was one of the 4 electricians that started together in 1978. Left in '86.

The superintendent's name was bryan simmonite, who was my father.sadly he passed away october 2018 aged 87yrs. He took early retirement at the age of 56. He spoke fondly of his time at herries rd, and the people he worked with. A few names come to mind, gordon hunter, benny derbyshire, bob bertram, ron knott and many more that i have forgotten. He enjoyed a long and happy retirement, doing what he loved, which was walking in derbyshire and spending time with all his grand children and family.
