Darbees   10 #97 Posted June 14, 2008 Fuel tanker drivers are in one of the higher pay brackets when it comes to truck drivers, mainly due to the requirement for additional certification such as Hazardous Chemicals. Not defending them, just pointing this out........ The only certification they need is an ADR license, this is available for a 3 or 4 day course at less than £300, renewable every 5 years, anyone with a full car licence can get one, it's hardly rocket lettuce.
