When does an edge count as a hill?

 

I guess Norton must feature in some way 'cos the Water Tower can be seen from most places ...

Crookes/Walkley are on Tapton Hill, which also includes Broomhill, Tapton and presumably Crosspool too. (Plus other places I can't think of right now)

It's eight, within the current city boundaries. It was originally five. It was never seven.

I know what it is about you now, you always state things so dogmatically as though you're right. When quite patently obviously, you aren't ... as in this case. Although I have the utmost respect for JG Harston's encyclopaedic knowledge and research, in this case he is mistaken

 

Stop trying to change history ... this is a well known fact about Sheffield and just because you say so, you can't change it
