No they didn't. Considering Labour's sitting Councillor was standing down this time and there was a different candidate in instead, I can assure you 100% it was not considered one of the safest seats for Labour.

Joe Taylor (Lib Dems) has taken Robert MacDonalds (Labour) seat (Hillsborough ward) with a 1100 majority.
