Free Weight Gym in Sheffield

Hi Everyone,

 

I have just moved into the Hillsborough area of Sheffield from London. I am near the Hillsborough park.

I am looking for a gym as close as possible to Hillsborough which has good free weight facilities for lifts like Bench Press Squat Deadlift etc.

Also I expect to be working a lot so the longer the opening hours especially at weekends the better

Have you tried Hillsborough Leisure Centre? I'm not sure but would guess they have quite a good range of free weights. There is also Don Valley which has a decent free weight section......

The heaviest freeweights down at HLC are 32kg, Don Valley or Concorde would probably have a better selection.

There's a free weights gym on Langsett Road in hillsborough, just up from Hillsborough corner.

 

It's pretty much opposite the 393 club:

I have been going to the freeweight gym in Hillsborough (I think it is called the Transform gym) and this has what I need as it has heavy free weights, barbells, squat racks etc.

 

However I am thinking about moving into the city centre to one of those City Living apartment blocks.

 

Is there a free weight gym with heavy weights in the City centre?

 

If not which one is the closest to the city centre?
