DT Ralge   10 #1170 Posted March 24, 2011 My driving instructor was very recommendable, he is ADI registered and had 100% pass rate as i remember. He drives self employed but uses Local Driving Schools badges, good priced as well pm me if you want his name and no   100% pass rate? I think you misheard what was actually said. DT Ralge   10 #1171 Posted March 24, 2011 yeah yeah, is it call sour grape in English lang, how can you charge £22 when people can still make a living charging £14? so you think you are £8 an hour better then her?  Maybe Saxon has been doing the business for a while, knows what his costs are and how to make a sustainable living from it. AND is not quite so keen to attract business his way as Kim is at this career stage. Maybe he also plans to stick around for a while. By the way, what hourly rate do you pay your window cleaner, say? Saxon   10 #1176 Posted March 25, 2011 (edited) Maybe he been doing it a few years and think he deserve to earn £880 for 40 hours work, £100 fuel not a bad earner me thinks or a touch too greedy OK Einstein, lets go with your figures.  Fuel at £6.20 per gallon, lets say an average of 45 mpg, 25 miles per lesson.  40 x 25 = 1000 miles.  1000 miles at 45 mpg = 22 gallons needed.  Sorry, Albert, you'd run out of fuel some time on Thursday and be about 11 hours short. Income now reduced to £660. Or your costs have just gone up.  Next? Edited March 25, 2011 by Saxon
 Share this content via...
