GrahamY Â Â 10 #16 Posted March 5, 2003 zeke started this off and now he's gone missing! I don't think of myself as being 'into', so much as being there at the time. You're right again, Frank married Jean and Dave married Lyn who are sisters. If the 80's was your period, what did you think of 10CC? zeke   10 #17 Posted March 5, 2003 Eddie Falcon and the Tremors are the only ones I can't remember, but the rest I do. Chuck Fowler, Pete Fender, The Greycats, O'Hara's Playboys, The Daizies, Jimmy Crawford. Thanks for the memories.
 Share this content via...
mikey   10 #18 Posted March 6, 2003 10CC are Ok not a big fan, but they have done some classics. When I meant 80's, I was talking about Jam / Blondie etc.  Question  What is the link between Donny Osmond, Take That, and Local Band Boy on a Dolphin? GrahamY Â Â 10 #19 Posted March 6, 2003 The Tremors were a Derbyshire band, we used to go to Lathkilldale Hotel every Sunday to see them. No bands on in Sheffield in those days. Â Mikey, they've all played G&T's in Hoyland?
 Share this content via...

Mike Higginson   10 #24 Posted March 8, 2003 I came across this site by accident, but I played in a band in Sheffield in the sixties and have lost touch with all the other former members. We were called the 'Corvettes' and were originally a 4 piece band with Don on lead guitar, myself on rhythm guitar, Phil on bass and Frank on drums. Later we were joined by 2 girl singers, Kit and Chris. We played gigs at the Cutlers Hall, City Hall ballroom, pubs and clubs in the Sheffield area. Wednesday nights at the Station Hotel in Rotherham for £8, what a gig!  I'd love to here from any of the former band members, or anyone who remembers us.
