I'm doing some research and looking for people to talk to about bought in domestic services. Do any of you have a cleaner, housekeeper, daily, mother's help, au pair or other domestic service? Or do you pay for a similar service for an elderly relative? If so I'd love to chat to you about it. Please PM me if you are happy to have a short chat. Please don't contact me if you are providing these services, I'm not in the market to buy domestic services, I'm doing research into user experiences. Many thanks in advance Sara

URGENTLY need a whelping box - can anyone help??
Sara replied to Berkana's topic in Sheffield Pet Owners
They do, but they knew she had just been in season when she came in and you generally wait three months after season for spaying as the increased blood flow can lead to a greater risk of haemorrhage. They did issue us with a spaying voucher ---------- Post added 11-03-2016 at 20:44 ---------- They couldn't have known, she was there for such a short time. Their pregnancy is so short and even the vet can't tell for the first 4 weeks. They have offered help with re-homing the pups -

Thanks everyone, we have managed to locate a very large dog crate, so we are hoping to be able to adapt that... We adopted her 5 weeks ago from the RSPCA, she a little terrier cross (patterdale- ish) we asked, but they don't really have this sort of thing because they have purpose build puppy houses. Thanks again for the replies -

Hi Berkana. Did you get one? We adopted a dog 5 weeks ago and discovered today that she is 7 weeks pregnant so we are also in need. So if you've finished with yours we would be happy to have it from you then pay it forward once we have finished Thanks -
It's driving me mad. There are loads of people who seem to remember it being a theme tune but not for what. The dating game was American so it's unlikely to be that I remember. What ever it wa, I put money on it featuring terry Scott or June Whitfield

2 After Dark Tickets for tomorrow night
Sara replied to Sara's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
I'm in S8 but can deliver them... within reason... -
I won 2 tickets for After Dark tomorrow in a competition worth £20 but can't go. I am happy to 'sell' them in return for a donation of £10.00 to http://tomfarrow.net. Let me know if you want them before you donate so I don't get dozens of people saying they've donated and asking where their tickets are. Of course, even if you don't get or want the tickets you can still donate

My local used to do a good fry up on a sunday morning acompanied by live music - usually Jazz. This plus the Sunday papers made the day perfect. But we've had a couple of kids so we haven't done it for a couple of years. Our kids are away this weekend at the grandparents and we were hoping to have our perfect lazy Sunday morning only to discover they don't do it anymore. Does anyone know where we can go in or around Sheffield that does sunday mornign breakfast accompanied by live music - it doesn't have to be jazz

Sheffield City Council pay and grading review

Please please please someone tell me that the grapevine was wrong and that the feckless, know nothing, do nothing city centre ambassadors are not really on SUGs9 and earning nearly £40k. I don't know whether to cry, write a stern letter of complaint or apply for a job! -
Does anyone know why there is a mobile CCTV van and police car parked at the bottom of Howard Street this morning?
-
Agree, you only need to inform HMRC if you are doing this as a business to make money, not just the odd CD. In terms of materiality, HMRC will be interested if the tax due in any year exceeds £200 (thats tax, not profits) Either way you are not required in any way to inform you employer, unless there is a conflict of interest, for example, your employer sells CDs. Should you be sucessful and incoprorate you should inform you employer as a matter of courtesy, as potentially there may be conflicts of interests caused by your role as a director

Oooh, that beats my peach snaps. I assume it was a ninety year old maiden aunt that gave you these delightful gifts...
-
How much do you want for it?
-
My sister and brother-in law (who I don't really get on with) gave me a bottle of souvenir Austrian Peach snapps which had been opened and a couple of inches was missing. I know they've never been to Austria so I imagine it was a souvenir given to them, although I suspect when they received it it was full and the seal intact!

Running (BEGINNER!) partner Heeley/Meersbrook
Sara replied to Belinkabelle's topic in Sheffield Sport & Activities
I need a running partner for evening runs. I don't run fast usually between 8 or 9k/hour and I'm looking to do 30-45 minute runs two evenings a week. Because of getting the kids to bed 7:30 is the earliest I can make it. I'm in Meersbrook, if you are interested please PM me -

My friend's baby had reflux so badly she ended up vomiting blood, but it went as soon as she weaned...
