Like ya thinking Bruno, they'll be no weight on my knee I suppose but there's a good chance I'll get sectioned walking about with 2 brooms under my arms
-
Not going to waste an ambulance just for my knee mate, They'll only tell me to go back once the swelling has gone down anyway. Just need some crutches for a days that's all
-
Cheers teafan, hopefully only need them for a few days, wouldn't usually bother but going to the match Friday & out for a meal Saturday!
-
Haven't been, last year I strained the same ligament, went to a&e for 2 hours was given some nurofen and told to go to my docs in 2 weeks after the swelling goes down. No point in wasting their time & mine when they'll only tell me the same now. This time though I can't walk at all so could do with some crutches,I'm 6foot 5 though so need some tall ones! Cheers Ps it's northern

Has anyone got a pair of crutches I could use please or know anywhere that I could get a pair from? Torn my ligament in my right knee and can't walk! Not a good look! Cheers in advance Lee

2013 New Year's Resolutions
biglee85 replied to Isabelle's topic in Padders' Bar: General Discussions
As the title suggest what are your new year resolutions? Do you think you will stick to them? How many do you have? I'll go first- I would like to lose abit of timber....well alot of timber if I'm honest! -
There's no pleasing some people! Anything for a moan. If that is the biggest concern in your life at the moment you want to think yourself lucky. And by the way, I'm a non smoker too!

Almost 100% they have to pay you, they usually suspend you until a hearing,at this hearing it will be decided what punishment, if any you shall recieve. Basically your innocent until proven guilty so should be paid for the time you are suspended

I'd actually put money on at least 85% are!Even when you ring the taxi firms the operator says "it might be a while cos its Ramadan"

Bidding for a Council house MEGATHREAD
biglee85 replied to sarahbear's topic in Sheffield Property & Housing
Me and my partner have a 10month old son,we are currently living with her parents. Just before Christmas we got awarded the 26weeks priority. After bidding like mad every week for the first 4month I phoned our housing officer, she said to keep bidding and not to worry as we will get somewhere. I did as she said for a further month and phoned back, got told the same,to keep bidding etc. Anyways the 26 priority came to an end so I phoned her back only to be told there's nothing she can do!i asked why we hadn't been awarded anywhere and she said all the houses we bidded on must've been bidded on by people with full priority!!!we was bidding on 20-25 properties a week with 26 week priority and still didn't get anywhere!!!we are now having to go private just to have a roof over our heads! -
