  1. does anyone know if the Mirage vaping shop is open today?
  2. It's great to see Sheffield City Council supporting the Sport Relief event in Hillsborough Park by sending parking wardens out to ticket participants and supporters!!!!!!! Cashing in on a charity event. Well done!!
  3. I can't stop thinking about this tragic death of a young man entrusted to this city. The fact that it was his last pizza delivery job and was about to embark on a career in IT is heartbreaking. Well done Domino's to fly his parents here and I hope that they see that not everyone in Sheffield is as vile as the people that did this! Any ideas on this? I cannot imagine the pain they must be feeling!
  4. The garage next to the ASda that used to be Netto did my car recently and he was fantastic!!
  5. Hi Steve Green is fantastic - just refurbished our downstairs, floorinf, windows fitted kitchen and decorating - definitely recommend Tel no is 07515258294
  6. i thought it was good - worth watching. Noticed Shalesmoor near the Milestone pub, Lodgemoor estate, Whirlow and I think the prison is concorde leisure centre.
  7. I do not think for one minute that the blame described about disaffected young people for the riots is what is going on here. They are carrying it out but this must be organised riots!!! For those that work with young people they know that they do not tend to be political activists! Easy looting is a clever lure that organised groups will use to carry out their work.
  8. Any know whats happened in town?? My kids are on tram and fire police etc all over??
  9. Does anyone know what was going on at \Plug last night after the U18's event, Freedom? Apparently police were all over as someone had a gun? If so it must have been very scary for the kids there!
  10. Tamiflu was purchased by governments worldwide when Bird Flu was expected. Anyone had that? It only has a shelf life of 3 years! Is it a coincindence that swine flu has emerged and Tamiflu is the required drug? Don't think so!
  11. Yes i think we are trying to make up for her past and to be honest my husband is very soft with her. I am going to stick to some basic rules eg feeding her last and not letting her enter before us and see if that sorts things out. She is a lovely placid dog but maybe we have confused her as to the pecking order by being soft with her.
  12. Hi We got a beautiful rescue dog 2 weeks ago. She is a saluki and being new to owning a dog would be grateful for any advice anyone has. She is mainly house trained - had a few accidents and walks really well off the lead. She loves to run and has always come back . I think because she is a rescue and is also so placid we have all given her loads of love but this week she has started to mouth both myself and my daughter and obviously i don't want this to become a habit. she seems to have adopted my husband as leader of the pack. All the sites i have researched about salukis about say that they will become attached to one person which is fine but i need to establish the redt of the family as higher pack members.
