  1. If you want an event putting on maybe we can help, we're just a local events company who can often get much cheaper prices than the general public because we utilise companies services more often. Food for thought anyhow!
  2. I'd be bending over backwards to help you if you were a client of mine whether you were spending £2 or £200,000.
  3. We often help charities "pro bono publico", if you would like to get in touch via the website with an outline of your ideas so far I'm sure the team can help out!
  4. I'm quite interested by this topic because after having had a landlord from hell (a private one that you may have read posts on) I have posted messages warning folk of his mistermeaners on gumtree where he is advertising my former house (without directly mentioning his name) and if he were to try and go down the legal route I don't think he'd have a leg to stand on given I can support my argument with evidence. Actually, scratch that.... bring it on, let him waste his monies!
  5. Actually I thought the prices were quite reasonable. All the best!
  6. I have a million ideas on this one! I used to have a scalextrix when I was a kid (I still have it tucked away in the spare bedroom somwhere) and I used to make my own stickers and created my own racing team. (Odd for a girl I know) You could approach big businesses direct and ask them if they would like their colours over an F1 car in return for cash and they get "staff days" out around the track and VIP tickets (obviously). The colours (for example Ferrarri) are that of the national colours of Italy, if the F1 car is British (this maybe to specific) however you could appraoch companies with red white and blue. Like Virgin and the Brawn's - if I was MIG or Virgin I'd be paying for exclusivity, I think the Brawn's look stunning WITHOUT all the advertising bumff on them but they are paying a premium for that. Exclusivity suggests wealth, class and taste. Looking back at the Jag's etc, I would go along the lines of what they did - "British is best" with the racing green, I think out of all the British teams they got it spot on. Distinct, key sponsors is what you need - people that will work well together on and off the car. I'm moving more into Marketing with my job and its really interesting the "how you sell it" - not actually what the product is - advertising space at the end of the day is advertising space however it depends who the core demographic of people is that is going to be seeing it.
  7. After getting legal advice I am to totally ignore the idiot and let him spend money (he doesn't have) and then counter sue. For an academic this man isn't very intelligent, goodness knows how he became a "Dr" at a University. Hopefully his solicitors have said "err... you don't have a leg to stand on" and that will be the end of it.
  8. He has to find out my new address to serve me first
  9. I'm being sued now for leaving the property! Ahh the irony.
  10. I love a drama! Its like a soap opera. If anyone is interested my friend who works at The Times newspaper might be publishing the whole saga, no idea when but if it does get published I'll post a link. We are moving out on 1st July, had enough of all of this, just going to go live in a crappy flat it town most likely - not that we've organized it yet, still got viewings booked for tomorrow. Oh well, I really liked Lodge Moor, I knew it was too good to be true. Ce La Vie.
  11. Thanks for the post, I know estate agents are a bit of a rip off but at least you know what you are getting eh?
  12. Thank you for your advice guys, I'm really glad you've responded. I'm gunna attack him from every angle with this - he's treated me like the "little silly woman" if you know what I mean and NO ONE talks to me like that. He'll only speak to my OH about problems and issues because "hey! what does a woman know right(!)"
  13. I've done a lot of research into tenacy law this evening and spoken to a few reputatble landlords I know and they have suggested I report him to the Police for the threats of kicking me out - what do you think?
  14. He hasn't changed his morgage or informed his morgage company he's renting, no insurance, the DVLA are after him, our deposit hasn't been put in a scheme and above all else he's threatening to come round and kick us out the house - should I log this with the police Just incase something does potentially kick off?
