My trusty old HP has finally packed I and I am looking for a new gaming Laptop. I have been looking at the HP Pavilions available at John Lewis. I know you have to dish out for a decent machine but I am only looking to spend around £800, less if possible. Any thoughts on the Pavilions? Has anyone seen any good deals of late? General advice? Hi, So I have a 4 year old son who stays with me half of the week as part of a shared care arrangement. Unfortunately I am in a council rented 1 bedroomed flat and really need to upsize. However, the council will not allow me to bid on two bedroomed properties because I do not claim child benefit (my child's mother does). As a result I am going to be forced to private rent and thus will lose my 8 years tenancy and the discount to buy along with this. Is there any way around this? Many thanks

Thank you for all the replies. I was only allowed to see him if she was going out. One time not coming to fetch him the day after because she had another man round despite her knowing i had to work. She will text me seeing if I can have him 10 minutes later. Obviously I drop everything i'm doing because i want to see him but it shouldn't be like that should it ? We tried to sort out specific days where i could see him but she seems to have gone back on the arrangements we set up. Now she isn't letting me see him at all.

Just split up with partner of 2 years and have a 10week old child together. Can anyone recommend any solicitors if she stops me from seeing him. Already starting to use him against me and I don't want to miss a moment of him growing up. Thanks

Another problem with three mobile broadband now ! It keeps disconnecting every 5 minutes ! despite me having a fantastic signal ! 619 error code it says ive tried alsorts but to no avail got in contact with three and they gave me some useless tips tryin to tell me how its my signal.....is is not. anyone else had this problem? emailed three a second time 7 days ago and still have got no reply. cheers

got in touch with pc medics and they were very helpful. they said it may be because my power box thingy majig is sat on the carpet. so is over heating. didn't think this would be the problem personally going to try moving it later see if it works. BTW animal.... i went into Sainsburys todays and it said nothing about the arcade being 100pounds. which Sainsburys did you see it ? cheers mateys

yeah out of warranty unfortunately Microsoft quoted me 60pound for it to be fixed. might be as well buying a new one....it freezes constantly as well. What dya reckon? thanks for replies
