  2. Oh no! Sorry to hear this Kathryn it's so stressful isn't it! Glad there was no need to operate xxxxx
  3. I've sent them a message expressing concern for the dams of these pups. The range of breeds is massive. As if it based in a town called Hicksville, for gods sake!!
  4. Hi Kathryn thanks so much for your message I know I'm definitely trying to get those contacts to help that I can rely on as help, there must be someone round here who works from home!!! Looking forward to seeing Ailsa again on monday hope we can find out what's going on with her quickly, I'm on ops so I'll be looking after her Rosy xx Ps thank you elizabeth I will look into Gracie as a possible dog I can imagine fostering can be a great way to get into dog ownership xx
  5. Hi Evei Thank you for your message. I'm always amazed by how much time people spend on others on the forum I totally understand what you mean & have been thinking about this a lot. I also know that I have been waiting years to have my own dog, and have put it off & been patient due to work hours- worked til 7pm for last few years- or low salary. However it gets to the point where if you calculated every detail of adding pets or children to your family, most people wouldn't do it! I want to do well on my course & in my job of course, but am more than happy to put the dog first & understand he would be my priority I intend to go part time in the next few years in order to have a proper 'work/life' balance and have children. Thank you again x x x
  6. Had really lovely chat with Tina thank you again Shirley She also does 30min walks for only £6 which is helpful & very competitive Still on the lookout for anyone who wants to do it nearer to me (hunters bar) Would suit students looking for a bit of extra cash!!
  7. Thank you Shirley that's really helpful I will try her It's tricky to start looking for someone, there's so many & one I just spoke to said it would be £10, which seems quite a lot. Thanks Rain! Will def chk out your dogs
  8. Hey Thank you so much for your comments, I'm going to be a student teacher, lucky enough to be paid while training, due to teacher shortage so will def be able to afford insurance- I've also been vet nursing for over 3 years so believe me I have seen what happens when people can't afford to pay unfortunately Yeah am familiar with dog walking companies, just thought if I could track down a friendly neighbourly person it would be great, there may even be people on this street who are interested! Thanks for replying Rosy
  9. Desperate to take on a rescue dog, even had change of career so will have more time, but need to sort someone who could help around midday, so he wouldn't be left too long alone, even tho he'll get long walks morning & after work I don't want to abandon him for too long! When I'm at uni I can nip back myself but I will have about 100 days of placement where I could get posted to any part of Sheffield. Maybe you miss companionship of a dog or can't afford one or you're at uni so you're not allowed one- but if you think you might like to help I would really appreciate anything so please get in touch!!! Thankyou so much
