    Yeah that's right Patti , they did.I once tried some and it neither smelled like beer...or tasted of it, yep, indeed I did ! I was about eleven at the time !

    My Mum used to use a hair setting lotion which was a sort of sloppy gel, it was bright greeny blue and called 'Dippity doo'..Yes, it really was ! My nans used Coty Laimant and Yardley's Freesia perfumes !!!
