  4. I was there in 1986-1988 I still havent forgot how to type. It used to be so boring when they put you all in that little room and the board used to light up with the correct letter and that damn tape recorder but it worked. Met some nice people there it used to be a laugh, especially when I bought a kitten from RSPCA and had to take him there for the afternoon.
  5. What a fantastic shop this was my mum used to take me every saturday I used to get a small pack of crayola crayons if we were really well off that week I got a 24pack with all the great colours. The best bit was going upstairs to look at the dolls houses they even had lights that worked always wanted one of those. Sadly we have been overtaken with Toys r us no atmosphere except at christmas when its complete chaos and mayhem. Bring back redgates I say:hihi:
  6. Oh my gosh what a fantastic forum I went to greenlands school started in 1975 the head was Mr taylor and it then went on to be Mr Slee used to stand like a teapot with hands on hips. I remember Mr Ellis always wondered why his carpet was dark green?? Remember the flying board rubber came whizzing past me in the direction of richard ward picked his nose wiped it on carpet I believe Ellis not impressed it left a nice chalky imprint when it hit the wall????????????? Does anyone remember Mrs Snell and her magic cream when you fell down what a fantastic school that WAS I used to live opposite next to the park.

  9. Hi everyone only my second time on the forum, I too am a cat person, they just seem to find me. I have had loads but only bought one, must be a secret sign on my door telling all moggies its a halfway house:hihi: . Sadly on Monday i had to have my ginger tom put to sleep he was 20yrs old, 5yrs older than my son. House seems very strange without him So Im trying to keep busy by doing more knitting. Knitters seem to be big animal lovers a good thing I think:)
  10. Hi first time on this forum it was recommended to me by jillm, this request made me smile and brought back some happy memories. My mum used to knit Sindy clothes for me when I was little, they even had matching bags, I would love to knit some clothes for the dolls it will be good practice. Not so much to unpick??????????? I would also like to knit for the premature babies.
