  1. Problem is sorted now, thanks for all the offers of help.
  2. Hi I have two photos of my grandchildren, they aren't perfect photos but capture the wonderful moment of interaction between them, the only down side is my daughters washing on the radiator behind them which ruins the photo. So I'm wanting to try and find out if there is a company on the internet that can remove this? Actually a couple of years ago I asked and similar question and someone on here very kindly did it for me. This time I did download a couple of editing programs from the internet to have a go myself but because its a radiator it looked rubbish. Therefore and company recommendations would be gratefully received. Thanks.
  3. Both my daughters live on that estate. The management company has changed Claire Joyce are no longer looking after the estate.
  4. Hi I'm not sure if anyone has any information that can help. My daughter is a nurse and therefore a shift worker. She does not work the same shifts/days every week so a nursery doesn't seem an option, she does have some family help on some days. The problem is I guess it's a lot to expect a child minder to take on a child on an 'as and when' basis It would only be week days and a full day or possibly half a day some days. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
  5. I hope he's been found, it's horrible weather for him to be out in, if not maybe you could post this on Sheffield Online on facebook they seem to be able to help with dogs lost and found.
  6. Hi, My daughter is getting married next August, she has her dress which is ivory. I managed to get a beautiful veil from a charity shop but when we put it with the dress we realised the veil is white. I was told you can dye a veil with tea and just wondered if anyone has successfully done this and how? Thanks
  7. Well if that was it then it happened again last night and went on and on and on and on ........................ it drove us insane! Probably a different alarm if the one on Flockton has stopped.
  8. It seemed worse than ever last night. Amzy if you or your neighbour manager to discover what it is can you let me know. Thanks
  9. Yes it is at the moment as I said it can go ages without going off then it starts usually more annoying at night. Maybe it's coming from the other direction or maybe it's a broken car or van at Robins and Day. I did say it was a long shot but if you aren't hearing it across from Asda I don't know. ---------- Post added 16-07-2014 at 20:03 ---------- It's just started again now.
  10. we are just behind the Sword Dancer but have no idea where the alarm is. It's a very high pitched alarm. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to it as it doesn't go off for ages and then it starts again going on and off again for hours. I have in my mind if it's a building that it must be unused as surely someone would have done something about it by now.
  11. This is a bit of a long shot but here goes, we live in Handsworth and for at least 3 weeks now there is a very high pitched alarm going on and off at all hours day and night. As it's been warm and we have the windows open it has woken us up many times. We can't pin point where it is coming from so just wondered if anyone else hears it and if so have they any idea where it is so the homeowner or business can be notified? Thanks
  12. The thread about this on the Vodafone forum is now 17 pages long. The mast has been decommissioned so now they have to look for new land etc to erect a new one, goodness knows how long that is going to take, one customer who complained was told 6 months! I don't think it's going to be resolved any time soon.
  13. Any further news on this lee_vodafone as this is still a problem since the end of Feb and is now totally unacceptable?
  14. try little mesters cafe/bistro within kelham island they did my daughters wedding meal last year just 16 people and are doing my other daughters next year just 10 people for a meal and about 50 in the evening. They don't charge for the room just for the meal.
  15. Hi caz, Rest assured that we're working on the problems currently being experienced in Dronfield and will be providing an update here once more information is available. Kind regards, Lee Social Media Comms Lee can you confirm what sort of compensation will be given for the lack of service for the last 6 weeks?
  16. The following thread on Vodafone's eforum is now 11 pages long and has been going since Feb and still is and nope it's not my phone. http://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Network-Queries/S18-Dronfield-Derbyshire/td-p/1951282/page/2
  17. Hi we are thinking of having artificial lawn and have received some samples which look good and aren't a bad price but the fitting was a bit steep. Does anyone know anyone that installs this but for a reasonable price?
  18. It seems it depends where you are in Dronfield.
  19. I work in Dronfield and have had no signal with Vodafone since Feb and the way they have treated people in Dronfield is outrageous! I have been with Vodafone since I got my first phone in the 90's but I can assure Vodafone I won't be renewing my contract with them, I am disgusted with their attempt a a phone service.
  20. Maybe you should try and watch it on demand or something it might make you think again, it has me and two of my friends who also watched it. I love my three dogs and thought I was looking after them the best I could but the facts about what we feed them have made me look more carefully at what is in what I thought was the good quality dog food I feed them.
  21. ahhh yes may try the sadine idea thanks. It's just to make the dry food a bit more moist until they are used to it.
  22. We do add a small amount of wet dog food at the moment but want to try and stop that all together so might try the warm water. Hubby has since found another dog food that looks good called Millies Wolfheart not sure if one is better than another.
