  1. Far far better off using a smaller independent, estate agents all use the same advertising internet websites, so it will get the exposure it needs anyway The smaller agents give a better more personal service Try Crucible sales and Lettings on campo lane., they give their profits to charity to put back I to the local community
  2. You should try Crucible Homes on Campo lane, superb service They give all their profits to charity which is unlike any other Estate Agent
  3. I helped a friend with a similar problem, calling them at work a few times and suggesting I collect the money from their place of work soon found us with regular payments from the debtor. They simply didn't want the hassle at work
  4. Jeffery is right it's the agent but the Landlord and a lot of flats / apartments have managing companies that have strict rules re pets
  5. Alice is right Be aware that if you do take a bond or deposit this needs to be registered by a deposit scheme and shouldn't be considered as a rent payment
  6. You don't need to say....but where is the house your looking to buy, some sites are joint owner and tenant occupied, I have dealt with SYHA and they are a very reputable company
  7. I would recommend just getting 2 or 3 agents around to value the property, auction is a an option but not always the best. It's still very much a buyers market although that seems to be changing I've been in the property market for 20 years so could help if you need some further advice Feel free to message me
