I helped a friend with a similar problem, calling them at work a few times and suggesting I collect the money from their place of work soon found us with regular payments from the debtor. They simply didn't want the hassle at work

Jeffery is right it's the agent but the Landlord and a lot of flats / apartments have managing companies that have strict rules re pets

Alice is right Be aware that if you do take a bond or deposit this needs to be registered by a deposit scheme and shouldn't be considered as a rent payment

You don't need to say....but where is the house your looking to buy, some sites are joint owner and tenant occupied, I have dealt with SYHA and they are a very reputable company

I would recommend just getting 2 or 3 agents around to value the property, auction is a an option but not always the best.
