The pedestrian crossing on the Banner Cross side of the Hunters Bar roundabout can cause problems at peak times. Traffic seizes up on the roundabout with consequent tailbacks up Brocco Bank.

Anyone have memories of Bachelors Foods, Claywheels Lane? Drove up there a couple of years ago and couldn't believe the derelict site. 1969, 1970, 1971 working there in summer. The memories! The Butterly Beds! The Blanching machines! The terrible bean- picking belts on 12 hr night shifts! Hot Chocolate playing at Shades on Ecclesall Rd. Lovelytimes. What happened? Did we get older? xx
