  1. Hi If this is still available I'd be happy to collect it and fix it up. I'm only round the corner and could come round tomorrow night. Thanks
  2. Hi I'd like to put a greenhouse up in my garden because the produce I tried growing this year has produced pretty poor results. I'm not too keen on having a glass greenhouse though as i've a young son who enjoys kicking a ball around. I've seen poly houses and wondered if anyone has used one and what the results are like? Thanks
  3. I don't use FB so frogive me for sounding stupid but how do you actually use the site if you're not a member? I just get confronted with the join now screen
  4. I dont have twitter or facebook but guess I could open a twitter account to start a small group that we could build a small group. Ive been using the Michel Thomas method of learning and have learnt what I consider to be a lot but it is all present tense. Also, when i try to listen to native speakers on you tube its way too fast and my brain can barely decipher it. Im hoping meeting a variety of people and being around the langauge will get my ears usee to it and ill start picking out more and more words
  5. Hi I'm in the process of learning French and would benefit greatly from hearing a lot more conversational French and being able to try mine out on others. I was hoping somebody might be able to tell me if there are any informal clubs or get togethers that they are aware of during the week? Thanks
  6. I've 4 crowns of Stewarts Purple Asparagus going free to the first person who is interested. My bed wasn't quite big enough and I didn't want to throw them out. Please message me if you're interested. I'm at the top of Warminser Road near the Park.
  7. Hi I would really like to buy a oneplus but haven't an invite. I dont suppose any kind people out there would be happy to forward me one? My wife dropped her nexus 4 today and it totally smashed so it's time for a new one and last time I checked you could just buy it online... not anymore. Thanks
  8. Cool. Thanks for the advice. Will hopefully post when i'm safely back this afternoon
  9. I'll be travelling back to Sheffield today. Coming in from Meadowhead i'd usually go Bochum Pkway > Norton Ln > Hemsworth > Warminster. Can anybody local let me know whether this route is safe or am I better going through Woodseats > Scarsdale > Derbyshire lane > Harvey Clough > Warminster I live right at the top end of Warminster by the park and it sounds like i'm still going to struggle. All this sheet ice talk is really panicking me.
  10. Thanks for the info. Not sure whether I fancy my luck trying to drive over frozen compacted snow having had a very hair raising accident in the snow several years ago.
  11. Is anybody able to offer an update of the current situation on Hemsworth and Warminster Road? I've travelled out of town for Xmas and was hoping to come back tomorrow but might have to delay it if I can't get to my door.
  12. Hi The screen on my LG G2 cracked last night when I dropped it. Im now unable to use the phone properly so need the screen replacing. Can anybody advise a good, reliable, honest place to go to get this done? Thanks
  13. Hi I'm currently looking to buy a semi detached house but am finding that most of them do not have the desired kitchen space so am considering buying a property with the intention of extending the ground floor to create our perfect kitchen. Before committing to such a project I was wondering who has had property extended is able to provide me with a list of complications that may help inform my decision. Most of the properties i've looked at also require new central heating & pwer shower (£4000?), rewiring and consumer unit (£3000?), bathroom (£700), double glazed windows & uPVC Fensa certified doors (£5000?) and carpets throughout (£2000ish). In that order of priority. And of course decorating but i'll do that bit. But already we're looking at nearly £15,000 and we've not event considered the extension and kitchen units. I would want the project all taken care of by the builder/project manager so that my only input was high level decision making. From reading around on the internet I have an idea that for this type of project i'd be looking at costs of about £1000 per sq metre. Does this sound realistic? We'd be looking to add 12.5 square metres. Also, do prices, such as the per square metre price tend to include plastering, electrics, plumbing? So, I guess i'm asking for advice along the lines of... Should I do this? What have I failed to consider in the above list and the big one... can you recommend anyone to do the work should we go ahead? Thanks
  14. I'm looking for a French tutor to teach me and my wife French. We are both beginners with only a very basic grip of verb conjugations. As we've a young child we cannot attend classes and would need somebody who can teach us at home. We'd like to have a lesson once a week, in the evening, for 2 hours.
  15. Hi I think people have overlooked that you need to register with the Information Commissioner (ico.org.uk) if you are planning to store user's details. You'll also need a secure website which uses SSL, in laymans terms it has a URL beginning with https:// rather than http. You can do this cheaply though, for £15 a year, just google it. The https will be required when users register, login to their personal area and complete purchases. My business wasn't VAT registered for a long time, I think when I started the turnover threshold was £67,000 for any twelve month rolling period. Once I hit that I registered for the flat rate VAT scheme which meant I paid a flat 6% VAT on my turnover but couldn't claim back input VAT (i.e. claim it back on items I purchased). Hope this helps
