  1. Doesn't that opinion confirm the EDL's often mentioned line that Muslims are intent on taking over?
  2. I think you missed the point there, which was, playing Songs Of Praise in a Muslim country would cause much more of a stir amongst the corn flakes of a morn, than the call to prayer here. The world would be a much better place without any religion. ---------- Post added 02-07-2013 at 20:00 ---------- This is a Christian country. You may not like it but it is. It was built on Christian principles. I don't go to church, I'm none religious but I have Christian principles.
  3. I wouldn't feel it would. But Christians, in a Christian country, wouldn't. If we were talking about, Iran, for example or any other Muslim country and All Things Bright And Beautiful was played every morning, there my be a bit of a stir, don't you agree?
  4. This is how I think it should be. 1. If anyone chooses not to work, that's up to them they should be left to it. All the resources that are targetted at these can then be aimed at those who want a job. 2. Nobody should have to do anything more than sign on on the signing day. Anyone who needs support can ask for it. These people will then receive extra help that will be funded by savings made from teaching grannies to suck eggs. 3. Direct all the savings made into providing training courses and paid placements at employers. 4. Stop kidding everyone that there are any jobs available, of any merit. There are some but they're always available because they're so rubbish..
  5. An act of stupidity from Channel 4. As if Muslims haven't enough to cope with without them being patronized and more bad feeling stirred up...
  6. There's a conspiracy theory that the powers that be are behind all of these type of things. The theory is that the government is well aware of the tinder box some areas are now.. and they want to push it over the edge so they can deal with Islamists without appearing racist... Not my theory but one doing the rounds.....
  7. It could be that it is already happening. There are areas in London where a charity walk was stopped and those doing it arrested. Whatever the politics of the whole thing is people should be allowed to walk where they like, this is not the case in some Muslim areas, as Robinson's arrest shows. Sharia is already here. It may not affect you but it is affecting thousands of women who don't get fair treatment.
  8. I gave up on Channel 4 a while ago. They are too biased. As are the BBC on many things so I don't watch their news either... I get all my news now from Sheffield Forum
  9. I would agree, its time for enforced change, its the only way. Thanks for bringing this to my attention chem..
  10. Wasn't Burngreave a posh area in years gone by? There's some pretty big houses up there. I understood this was where all the captains of industry lived in times gone by?
  11. This is a sign of the times I'm afraid. I'd sooner smell weed than have some drunks playing loud music and arguing though. Personally, I don't mind the smell. I wouldn't want their smell to seep into my home though, but I don't mind it when its at someone elses or in the street.
  12. Derby County sing the Hark Now Hear...the Wednesday song, they even mention the Boxing day line lol
