  1. Got to meet Type O Negative, but i'm sure it was fixed! but well worth it anyway!!
  2. I went to the doctors a few weeks ago with similar symptoms, had a few tests done. Which were clear, but the doctor thinks that it may be ovarian cysts. So i have to have a scan in 2 weeks. I have pain most days and sometimes even ibuprofen doesn't seem to work. I don't know if you find this too but even lying down doesn't seem to help. Somteimes standing up or sitting upright seems to help a little. Get to the Doc asap!
  3. Do you have any news on a possible home for Batfink yet?, I hope you do soon!!! I really enjoyed xmasfink, was a really good night, apart from my ex storming off home (not because of me though!). Still enjoyed myself! I thought it was great that although there was no dancefloor, people still managed to find some space to dance! Good luck in finding somewhere!!!!!
  4. I think i did and i still can't get over him. But i read this really good book called "only Love is Real" its written by a doctor, who did not believe in past life regression and then ended up becoming a past life regression therapist! IT can be found in the philosophy section fo bookstores and the first chapter summarises the soul mate concept. It made me understand why I found/find it so hard to move on from my ex boyfriend.
  5. When I met my ex I was nearly 25 and he was 37, but age doesn't bother me at all. I never even thought about it!
  6. That is so weird because I was driving to work on monday morning and i saw this girl wearing a really long, knitted scarf and I decided i would like to start knitting. On monday i went to John Lewis and got some wool and knitting needles and my colleague showed me how to cast on and knit again. So since Monday I have been on knitting frenzy. It is so theraputic. I love it. Maybe there is going to be a knitting revolution!!!
  7. I am the ex and "trust me" there is no chance. We are friends but I went out with him for five years that was long enough, no chance of me getting back with him thank you very much!
  8. 1. Be very careful what you say Rob! 2. Rocketpig what i'm saying is also try and see it from the person who lives with their ex's point of view too. It is a ****ing **** situation to be in. Like i said I've had a boyfriend since Rob he did not like the fact I lived with Rob. Put yourself in my shoes. It's all about trust. Rob asked for advice, i'm trying to get people to also see it from our side!
  9. The relationship between me and Rob should have been over 2 maybe 3 years ago. It became habit. I don't want to go into detail or upset Rob, but trust me there is no temptation whatsoever. He gets on my nerves most of the time! Do you think myself or anybody else in a similar position asked to be in such a situation, how trapped and frustrated do you think I feel. We are not living together by choice, if someone found a way for me to move out tomorrow I would! I would like my own space, i'm sick of being in this situation. It's frustrating because I spilt with rob for many reasons. I've known him long enough to know that I don't want a future with him. The underlying issue of this situation is trust. If you don't trust someone then what is the point in having a relationship with them? I can honestly say that I have never lied or cheated on anyone and I am one of the most loyal and devoted people you would ever meet.....because of this I get hurt. When I was with my last boyfriend I never even looked at another bloke even though he used to openly make comments about other girls and ex's. He was my boyfriend and I wanted him and nobody else. I lost him and I believe part of the reason he ended our relationship was because of this situation. sorry about the rant, but it's very frustrating. Thanks to those who have showed some compassion and understanding.
  10. There is no way on hells earth that would happen, sorry Rob, because I have put up with that pain for 5 years! alot of the time we are at war! Although we do get on we don't have that much in common we were not compatible. It actually does **** me off how some people have issues. I can see it from both sides of the coin but my argument is if you really really want to be with someone nothing will stop you in getting to know them and taking a risk. Just supposing that it is your soul companion. So many people let good things slip away and years later regret it. If i dated someone I would still bring them around to the house, i didn't with my last boyfriend because it was too soon and raw for all involved. I'm not bothered if Rob brings a girl around, he's not bothered now if i bring a bloke around! Also the house is on the market so it's not like a permanent arrangement anyway!
  11. Twisted Sister rocked, I thought there was more atmosphere in the crowd when they performed. I've also seen Alice before, I didn't think his show was a good as the last time but as someone said predictable. I went to see Twisted Sister, don't think I would have bothered otherwise.
  12. I have many. In the summer I went to London and we ran to get a tube and my leg got shut in the door and the force knocked me to the floor on the platform with my leg still shut in the door, and i just sat there with my leg trapped and It was one of these moments that seemed to be in slow motion, luckily the door opened and I managed to get on very red faced and shakey! The other day I got out of a taxi and my dress caught the wind and blew up revelaing my underwear infront of a long line of cars queueing at traffic lights. This one time I climbed over a gate in a park and my foot got stuck and i was left dangling with my foot still stuck! This other time when i was about 3 or 4 i decided to put a stone up my nose and it got stuck so I had to go to hospital and have giant tweezers stuck up my nose to remove it!
