  2. well freddy, what can i say......................how wrong you are! i train with paul and he knows what he is doing scott had an unanimous points decision, and alex mckenzie ( pauls other instructor) knocked out his opponent in the first round and alex's opponent had a spurious weigh in ............. that is his opponent weighed more than the 83 kg allowed. cheers nailbag
  3. well to be perfectly honest i have worked for the nhs as an anaesthetic technician for 16 years, and quite frankly i love it, no 2 days are the same, i earn 25k a year, i get 8 weeks annual leave a year, i work with a great team, term time contracts are available for staff that need them, i feel worthwhile in my job, will never be unemployed and pretty much have the flexibility to work in any city in the uk i choose. we deliver top quality care to patients irrespective of financial restraints. one person said to me that the nhs is bleeding the country dry, however i feel the country is bleeding the nhs dry. i could think of worse paid, undervalued, non stable jobs than the one i have.
  4. money money money thats what is all about! everybody knows the dangers of smoking and passive smoking. however the government make so much tax from smoking that they want people to smoke as smokers pay their tobacco tax and then die younger, saving the government having to pay out on your old age ( nhs costs, pensions etc). how hypocritical are the government trying to ban smoking in public places , but allowing the sale of cigarettes in most public places ( newsagents, petrol stations, supermarkets , etc..) if the government truly had our welfare at heart then they would ban the sale of cigarettes in this country and promote smoking cessation at there expense hanrahans opposite the hallamshire hospital for the last year or so has been a non- smoking pub, however recently this ban has been lifted, this is probably because they have made so much more money being a non smoking pub.........yeh right!
  5. yep i would like to see the two hats at the leadmill, they are an interesting band, although the keyboard player is a little odd! i would also like to see FC DOG UK at the leadmill as well, a hard rock band with an even odder bass player.
