  3. New India garden restaurant and takeaway was owned by the same family they also had bangla garden in dronfield and new india garden take away in chestfield and 1 in Manchester how ever the owner had an hart attack (think he is 74 now) in 2000 and the sold the restaurant on heely bottom there takeaway in dronfield Chesterfield and Manchester but kept the takeaway in woodseats and still run it till this day iv Hurd they have a restaurant in Chesterfield now deepa's I think it's called and are going to open a big restaurant in Sheffield very soon.

  5. There are around 12,000 Indian restaurants in the uk around 10,000 are run and owned by Bangladeshi ppl? (according to spice magazine) my parents are from Bangladesh (was apart of India when the first curry houses opened in the uk) iv been working in my patents restaurants and takeaways since the age of 8 it's wot I love it's wot I enjoy with out my restaurants I feel lost for the last 22years of my life it's wot iv dun I doubt il find any other job that's more challenging n I don't wana do anything els and as my roots are from Bangladesh and the style of cooking is Bangladeshi iv decided to run it as a Bangladeshi restaurant? Wot ppl don't realise that Indian food varys state to state u go to north of India it's diff u go south it's diff u go Pakistan or kashmeer it's diff but they all are classed as Indian now but now the new generation of restauranteurs want to change that if my cooking is Bangladeshi then I want my customers to know I could explain to the diff wher the older generation couldn't y should I betend to be sumthing I'm not have u had proper Indian food sum of isn't very pleasant a proper Indian restaurant will only sell u veg (as India is religiously Hindu and most believe in life is sacred so mosty veg) it's the Bangladeshi and Pakistani community that's made Indian restaurants and the chicken tikka massala uk' favourite food n dish it's time they got sum credit and crittisusim for it lol
  6. Too many ppl using that lol plus wouldn't want to confuse anyone lol but thanks for the suggestion hmmmm spiced up fish n chips wander how that will taste?
  7. To be honest I don't really know as iv only been to Bangladesh once when I was 16 I'm 30 now but will look in to it I like the name will put it forward to my parents it's not ur typical name for an Indian and that's wot I'm after
  8. It is good but mango tree isn't the national tree of bangladesh ( well I think it's not will ask my parents )
  9. It's better that these building get used rather then stay empty also if ppl actuly went to these pubs and they was busy then y would they shut for? They went takeing enough to keep them open also old harrows might not open as an Indian it's just a rummer but iv Hurd the guys might back off (dont hold me to it i May wrong) but cuttlers will defo be a Bangladeshi restaurant
  10. Thank u for taking pArt in our little discussion tell you wot to help motivate u guys/girls il give sumthing to the person who comes up with a winning name

  12. Will tell you in good time first I need to get the project moving still at the design n Planning stage also I wouldn't want to brake any rules of this fourum by advertising my business but will do an paid advert in Sheffield forums thanks
  13. The food most Indian restaurant sell is authentic but it's not Indian it's Bangladeshi it's not home cooking the type of food u have in the restaurants it's more of the wedding or celebration food how ever there is alot of flavour lost cos the restaurants serve the chickin or lamb off the bone and we have to not just cater for 1 persons taste buds but for 100s And that's wher most chefs mess up cos they can't get the balance right at my new place we will have home cooking section but we can't forget our regular customers who enjoy the avrage curry if it wasn't for them we wouldn't be doing a 200 seater restaurant today this is an exciting time for asain restaurants industry it's evolving and Sheffield will catch up we just short new talent n new young blood who will not push but shove us ahead I'm a leavel 3 student at city college (castle college) And will be ur first qualified Indian/Bangladeshi chef in Sheffield hopefully any more questions il be happy to answer but going back to my little problem I need a moden name that is unique il also be asking for sum feed back on other issues as and when I get stuck I want this place to be sumthing that the community helped to build aswell thanks
