Please send any feedback to jpmotorbikestrading@outlook.com.

    Thanks

Why keep it private Jon? I think there could be a market for your idea and price range. Possibly potential buyers reading the thread.

A bit of advice. Get a domain with a proper email, @outlook will put some off. It's probably on the 'to do' list if you go ahead...just mentioning it ;)

You come off t'cross do you? Tha knows, that place called Parson Cross. Where on Gods earth is Parsons Cross?

Nobody I ever met that lived there called it Parson Cross, it was always Parsons Cross or simply off t'cross. (as you put it)

It seems some are in a bit of a pedantic mood on this thread. Does it really matter, when we all know exactly where the OP is on about?

Maybe read up on the project, not worry about a simple letter 's'

What if they can't afford to move ?

If they stopped wasting money on printer ink, paper and electricity, they might be able to afford it. We all would like to park outside our house if possible. The fact is, the path isn't ours, neither is the road. That applies if you own or rent a property. Disabled people can pay to have the yellow box pained in the road. Anyone with a blue badge can use it...most just ignore it anyway.

My view is pretty much covered in this quote.

    Personally I found it funny.

I can see both sides though, however unless you have an allocated parking space then people can park wherever they want, as long as it's legal.

Although saying that, the fact that someone can park on your driveway and it's not classed as a criminal act is utterly ludicrous.

I used to - until about 20 years ago, when most of them became comics.

I was just thinking back, and I did buy The Mirror years ago. So I told a small lie! In my defence, I only did the crossword during my break, then binned it/gave it away.

Fully agree on the 'comic' comment. Plus, as Pat said earlier, it's an expensive weekly cost now. I dare say that applies to the 'real paper' ones, or online subscriptions.

    Yes, I also think that.

I'd imagine it's a bit odd at first. You're used to the big 'physical' newspaper, then you move that to a mobile device.

My mum (88) won't have any of it. Newspapers and books 'must' be made of paper. Not a chance of changing her mind! ;)

Like @RollingJ, I just click the odd link from here and other websites that might lead a newspaper site. I don't buy papers (never have)

And you can't wrap them in one anyway - 'Elf & safety, you know. 🤣

I wonder how many on here had theirs wrapped in old 'killer' newspapers for years? And are fine! I don't think I've heard of a death by chip wrapping...ever! (I will stand corrected if it's ever happened)

Kebabs can be delicious, when done right.

Charley’s on Infirmary Road are probably the best kebabs in Sheffield, I reckon.

No, they 'ARE' the best in Sheffield. (I know people have their own idea/taste of 'The best')

A big downside though. Don't get one soon after opening, wait an hour or two at least. I'm sure you can work out why ;)

I live on the other side of the City. They still deliver for a bit more added to the delivery charge. I've only had one bad one (early order) Rang them, had a moan, another was delivered within 45 minutes free of charge.

The original cast were brilliant,  we saw the 30th anniversary show, and the  supposedly farewell tour at Sheffield Arena.  The changes over the years have not impressed me.

    It was very good.

I still prefer headphones, closed eyes, and build a mental picture of the story, while listening to the original album. Never gets old! (IMO)

I'm sure some will enjoy this version. Not for me though.

Drinking isn’t mentioned in that article.  It’s just about smoking.  I hate smoking but I’m not sure the ban on cigarette smoking is a good plan.  Smoking is on a steep decline amongst young people anyway and isn’t viewed as ‘cool’.  Unlike vaping.  There’s a strong possibility of smoking becoming ‘cool’ again if this ban is brought in.

They will try and ban a 'cool' thing, and another will come along. Always has, always will.

Hard drugs are illegal, people get those.

Owning an unlicensed gun is illegal, people get those.

I doubt kids will have too much trouble getting a pack of cigs or a vape!

I really don't know what's going through the heads of the muppets that run this country, or may run the country. We have much more serious issues to address, rather than silly vote hunting ideas.

  10. I have the above phone with two numbers. The problem is that, if I'm on a call on SIM1 and someone tries to call the SIM2 number, it just says "This number cannot be reached" (or something like that) That's the same with both numbers/SIMS

Both SIMS are on O2, one Pay Monthly, the other PAYG.

I've tried with two physical SIMS

One eSIM and one physical (can't have eSIM on PAYG)

Changing the SIM card slots (Move SIM1 to the SIM2 slot etc)

It won't allow me to turn on 'Dual SIM' it doesn't give a reason, just says it can't. That was also tried with physical and eSIM.

Both numbers work fine - as long as the other isn't in use.

The much older iPhone had no problem. If I was was on a call on one line, the phone would vibrate and show on the screen that the other line was ringing. It's not a VERY old iPhone, iPhone 12 maybe.

Any ideas on what to try next?

Or, just go back to an iPhone?

I've read many articles on it. It seems to be an Android issue, with a lot of people with the same problem. I'm still not convinced that both SIMS being on O2/Android might be the problem.

Blue /black ink comes off easily apparently . The colours are a bit harder but they still come off .

    Didn't know that!

Mines been there a long time. I'm not planning on having any more. The one that's on, might as well stay. I doubt it's cheap to have them removed, probably a lot more than having a tattoo done.

My mate who was a tattooist before it became a big business , swears blind the business to get into soon is the laser tattoo removal one .

I've seen patches of slightly off colour skin on people, say, in the shape of a heart (example) It definitely looked like a tattoo removal. I just wondered if it's got better, those I've seen look quite poor. Maybe the old method of removal.

  13. I think it's up to each person.

Some are fantastic artwork, others look like they were done with a sharpened teaspoon!

I have one, it was done decades ago. I had it done during my military service...I think it was Aldershot were it was done. TBH it looks a bit rough now, but I can't exactly take it off.

I'd say have one if you want. I'd also say to think twice about where on your body, if it's a name or something silly (cartoon etc) You may split up with the 'named' person, like a silly one, it will stay with you all your life ;)

I don't know how removal works, or does it work?

You're reyt posh, and loaded! ;)

Wetherspoons has a place in the pub sector. It's not for everyone. I've used them the odd time...and yes, they were 'odd' Well, most of them. Not my first choice for a quiet, relaxed chat and a pint! I seem to remember they did a decent breakfast at good money (going back a good few years)

  15. It's not easy if you have a fear, or something triggers a stressful reaction.

I'd say the 'at home' way mentioned above. Also mentioned above, don't get stressed about results, or keep repeating them without good reason. I'm sure it will also say on the home ones, it's for guidance only.  If you feel there is a problem, give the NHS a call and get advice.

As @Zach Clay said, the new watch ones are fairly close. My nurse checked the 3 things my watch does. Not exactly the same, but very near. She said to use them as a guide, not a diagnosis.

  16. I seem to remember BT sending out an email to tell users to alter settings (something like that) or the account would be deleted. I went on and couldn't see what they were on about. It may have been unused accounts.

I make a point of 'never' using ISP email accounts. My reason is that I change ISP's. If I don't use their email accounts, I won't have problems with letting people know a new email address etc...if I change. There are plenty of good, free email providers. If you want more security/options, paid for ones are available too.

EDIT: Just checked my BT one. It wouldn't log in the old way. I had to use the @btinternet address. It wouldn't recognise the one I used to use. All emails were there. Well, all 3 of them, from me to me when testing it.
