8751 Â Â 10 #4 Posted June 23, 2007 Most frequency web sites tend to contain out of date info. You can listen to Sheffield airport and general low level traffic over Sheffield on 128.525 MHz AM mode. As for the emergency services the Police are all digital now the fire brigade still use an old radio system but not for much longer as they are soon to move over to the digital system as are the paramedics. Â If you visit the city centre go in W.H Smiths and look for a magazine called Monitoring Monthly as that will answer many questions. Tony   10 #7 Posted June 23, 2007 126.225 for RADAR / Approach. But Netherthorpe is likely to be busier at weekends on 123.275.  What do you expect to hear? It will all be a bit confusing unless you know what's being said, and then you'll only hear half the conversation because you're out of line of sight of the VHF ground station. Even if you can hear something it's probably all a bit dull unless you like listening ot people repeating meaningless numbers. 8751   10 #8 Posted June 23, 2007 For Doncaster try ..  Doncaster Approach 126.225 MHz Doncaster Tower 128.775 MHz Doncaster Radar 126.225 MHz + 129.050 MHz Doncaster Information 134.950 MHz Doncaster Fire 121.600 MHz  But if you can hear 455.5625 MHz/455.7375 MHz (I can't remember which) which is ground ops but which also repeats both sides of some of the airband channels.
