I doubt it, you are too late. Most retailers take on Christmas temps on 12 week contracts. This is to cover peak period upto and including Xmas. They want the contracts to finish just after Xmas or very early new year as trade goes through the floor after new year when the best sale stuff is gone.

My point is most retailers recruit end August/early September with start dates around end Sept/Early October.

 

I would suspect that a large employer like Primark probably only recruit a few times a year (in volume) rather than replacing the odd one or two leavers.

 

Check meadowhall website for temp jobs though I know a few people are struggling.

You should wait a little and hopefully you will get positive response. These thing takes time and no one tells on the spot as they have to conduct other interviews too
