AtticusFinch
So I suppose that when Iran has 200 or more nuclear warheads, and Hizbollah are tooled up with suitcase nukes, we can all go safely to sleep. "Naturally the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany. That is understood. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. ...Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country." - Herman Goering
angle20
Interesting film (57 mins): http://jforjustice.co.uk/77/ which advances the idea that the four Muslim men put in the frame for the attack were patsies who were recruited for a training exercise, and that 7/7 was really a false flag event executed by MI5 and/or Mossad. The film starts off with something I hadn't heard mention of before: a BBC Panorama programme from May 2004 which discussed the possible response to a 7/7 type attack. It then discusses some of the 7/7 conspiracy issues, eg: that because of the cancellation of one train and the late running of another the purported bombers could not have got from Luton to King's Cross in time to be on the bombed tube trains; the dearth of publicly issued CCTV images of the alleged bombers - despite our 'CCTV rich environment' (the handful which have been issued appear to have been doctored or cropped); and reports that bombs exploded under the tube carriages. Finally, it questions whether Jean Charles de Menezes was killed because he was a man who know too much.

When it comes to "false flag" conspiracies such as the 9/11 and 7/7 attacks, I generally take the following view: Are there people within the government and authorities ruthless enough to kill their own civilians for their own military, geopolitical or societal control goals? Yes Could such an operation be executed without people finding out? No
angle20
Could such an operation be executed without people finding out? No That is the strongest argument against conspiracy theories and one which troubles me: but then read my signature!
