Saffron Club, West Street

What does everybody think to Saffron club on west street? Has anybody been? Its the new indian restaurant.

I thought it was pretty good, but much more contemporary than any other any other indian in sheffield with loads of dishes that I'd never heard of before. Good for me as I don't like blindingly hot food, but my housemate said she would have liked it a bit spicier. Was really quiet inside, however it was a monday night, but its lovely inside. Service excellent also. Hope that helps x

I had a well nice curry in there a couple of weeks ago. Bit pricey but nice for a bit of a treat, ja?

I hope it wont be too long. We tried to go in for lunch on a Friday a couple of weeks ago, only to find it's the one day they don't open for lunch.

I went the other night with the missus and we were quite dissapointed, there was no taste to the food, the restaurant itself and the service was good though.

I have been here for my birthday and its the best Indian meal I've ever had. The pashrari rice is to die for and the service outstanding, so helpful, and the decor really classy, I think I read about them in the Sheffield Telegraph and they got a really good write up

Boys an we went lastweek, very poor service...food was mmmm yeah cold, soo much salt, i wasnt going to complain, as i wasnt sure how they would react, we'ved already told them about the starters which the waiter wrote down wrong..I've had better.. and then charged us for something the waiter had order....our guess was, the'ir waiter was hungery...hehe
