I read with disappointment that the swimming baths will be closed for FIVE months for 'renovation'

 

As I have been a regular swimmer for many years, I have recently noticed a huge fall in the numbers of people lane swimming, coinciding with the also huge rise in price. 

I can't help but wonder if the closure is actually a cost cutting excercise, and I currently am very dubious as to whether the baths will actually reopen at all.

If anyone has any info I would appreciate it, as swimming is the only form of excercise I can tolerate.

(Please don't say go to Ponds Forge!!)

I heard it's due to problems with a local man constantly filming in there and refusing to wear a mask.
