Once the debtor pays-ff the debt, the entry can be removed.]
 Share this content via...
sharpend   11 #15 Posted September 14, 2022 We did a small claims court which cost I think £30. Do it yourself online.  Listed out what had happened and provided screenshots of messages etc  Because it was under £500, the court won't enforce so we just left it as he didn't pay.  Over £500 (I think) you can use the court bailiff service (which you pay for).  After almost a year, he popped up out of the blue wanting to pay ASAP and wanting proof that he had settled.  He had obviously gone somewhere that found the CCJ and knocked him back.  It was a very nice surprise...  Worth looking at as letters from CAB don't cut it with these people. They don't care.
 Share this content via...
Jeffrey Shaw   93 #16 Posted September 14, 2022 Good result. It shows the main power of the CCJ Register. See https://www.trustonline.org.uk/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIw6jX0NqU-gIVdoBQBh1uawwNEAAYASAAEgKY5_D_BwE
 Share this content via...
