Annie Bynnol 613 #2 Posted May 10, 2021 Go to the Garden Centre and make a note of everything that is sold. Then ask for a pre-interview visit. Go online and look at the whole range of stuff they sell and link to. Only a part of what they sell are actual plants and they will be seasonal so as new plants come in you can learn their character- most gardeners buying plants will know what they want. It is a retail job- which you can do. It is in a horticultural environment with which you are unfamiliar. So become a volunteer yourself for the other days. Heeley City Farm is very familiar with disability issues and you will be working in an environment where ther is a range of abilities- be positive and enthusiastic, importantly, focus on what you can do for them. Be prepared to answer the obvious question about priority of education over job. Become a volunteer anyway- it will certainly help with your CV. I do hope you are successful.
 Share this content via...
